Krezzi Apps Privacy Policy

Who I am
Krezzi Apps (“Krezzi Apps”, “I”, “me” or “my”) provides this Privacy Policy to describe how information is handled in connection with the Krezzi Apps website at https://krezziapps.com and the mobile apps I develop and operate (each a “Service”). Krezzi Apps is a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands and run by a single independent developer. I am the controller responsible for the processing described below.
My approach
All Krezzi Apps are built privacy-first: I do not require user accounts, I do not operate my own servers for user data, and everything you create in my apps (such as workouts, settings, or progress) is stored locally on your device. I do not run my own backend and I do not build user profiles. Where a specific app uses a third-party service (such as advertising or privacy-friendly usage analytics) or a device feature (such as Apple Health), this is described in the app-specific sections below.
Apps with advertising
This section applies to: “Sienna: Interval Timer”
This app is free to use and displays advertising provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC. To provide and improve ads, Google may collect and process data from your device, including device identifiers (such as the Apple advertising identifier, IDFA), IP address, approximate location derived from it, and interactions with ads. I do not receive or store this data myself.
Consent. In the European Economic Area and the UK, I ask for your consent before any advertising data is processed, using Google’s consent management platform when you first launch the app. On iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt additionally controls access to the advertising identifier. If you decline, you may see non-personalized ads, which rely on contextual information rather than your profile.
Withdrawing consent. You can review or withdraw your advertising consent at any time inside the app under Settings → Privacy options. You can also change tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Removing ads. These apps offer a one-time in-app purchase that permanently removes all advertising. After this purchase, no ad requests are made and no advertising data is processed.

Anonymous usage analytics
This section applies to: “Sienna: Interval Timer”
To understand which features are actually used and to find problems I could not otherwise detect, the app records a small number of anonymous usage events. This helps me decide what to improve in future versions.
Who processes this data. I use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service operated by TelemetryDeck GmbH, Von-der-Tann-Str. 54, 86159 Augsburg, Germany. The data is processed and stored on servers located within the European Union. I have concluded a data processing agreement with TelemetryDeck in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Legal basis. This processing is based on my legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the app (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object at any time — see “How to switch this off” below.
No device or advertising identifiers. The app generates a random number the first time it is launched and stores it on your device. It is not derived from any device identifier, it contains no information about you or your device, and it cannot be linked back to you. It exists solely so that repeated use can be recognised as coming from the same installation. Reinstalling the app creates a new one.
I do not read the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA), the vendor identifier (IDFV), or any other device identifier for analytics purposes. An iPhone and an Apple Watch count as two separate installations.
What is recorded. Nine anonymous events, each describing an action rather than its content:
- a timer was created
- a workout was started
- a workout was completed
- a workout was cancelled
- a workout ended without a regular exit (for example because the app was force-closed or crashed)
- the training reminder was switched on or off
- the purchase screen was viewed
- a purchase was completed
- which button was tapped on the workout summary screen
Each event carries a small amount of technical context: the workout mode, whether it happened on iPhone or Apple Watch, and rounded ranges rather than exact figures — for example “31–45 seconds” instead of a precise duration, or “4–6 minutes” instead of an exact count. Yes/no indicators record whether exercises were named or images were added, but never the names or images themselves.
What is never recorded. No names, no email addresses, no age, gender, weight or other personal characteristics. No location data. No exercise names, no images, no notes, and no health data. No content you create in the app.
Technical information sent automatically. The analytics software adds standard technical details to every event: app version, operating system version, device model, language, region, time zone, screen size, calendar information such as day of the week, and session counters.
It also transmits your accessibility settings — for example preferred text size, bold text, reduced motion, reduced transparency and colour contrast preferences. I do not need this information and do not use it, but the analytics software includes it automatically and it cannot be switched off. I mention it here so you know it is being sent.
No tracking. This data is never combined with advertising data, never shared for advertising purposes, and never used to track you across apps or websites.
How to switch this off. You can disable analytics at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy → “Anonymous usage statistics”. When switched off, nothing further is transmitted, any locally queued data is deleted, and the analytics software is not started again. The setting applies to both iPhone and Apple Watch.

Health and fitness data
This section applies to: “Sienna: Interval Timer”
On Apple Watch, the app can record workout sessions, including heart rate and active energy burned, and save completed workouts to Apple Health. This data is processed on your device and stored in Apple Health under your control. It is never transmitted to me or to any third party by my apps, and it is never used for advertising or any other purpose. You can manage or revoke Health access at any time in the Health app or in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health, and you can delete recorded workouts in Apple Health at any time.
Data stored on your device
Content you create in my apps — such as workout templates, workout history, notes, and app settings — is stored locally on your device only. It is deleted when you delete the app. Reminders and timer alerts use local notifications generated on your device; no notification data leaves your device.
Children’s Apps
This section applies to: “PuzzlePark”
My children’s apps do not collect, store, or process any personal data. They do not show advertising, do not use analytics, cookies, or tracking tools, and do not share any data with third parties. They are designed to work fully without access to your or your child’s personal information, in line with the GDPR and children’s privacy principles. Since no personal data is collected or processed, no parental consent is required.
In-app purchases
My apps may offer optional in-app purchases through the Apple App Store. These transactions are processed entirely by Apple. I do not have access to, and do not store, any personal or payment information.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, and restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.
Advertising. I do not process this data on my own systems. Requests are best addressed by withdrawing consent in the app (see above) or directed to Google as the processing party.
Analytics. The analytics data is anonymised and cannot be linked to you, which means I am unable to identify, retrieve or delete data belonging to a specific person — there is no identifier that would allow me to find it. You can exercise your right to object at any time by switching analytics off in the app, which stops any further data from being sent.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Language and Legal Validity
This Privacy Policy is provided in English. If translations are offered for convenience, the English version shall be legally binding.
Changes to This Policy
If my data practices change — for example, if a future app uses additional services — I will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and note the date of the last revision above.
